Independence is highlighted in the Gan Hadar program, which leads to deeper learning and developmentally appropriate experiences that hone the children’s autonomy and skills. The children participate in pre-math and pre-literacy activities regularly. The teachers support each child individually in the development of these skills. Play throughout the classroom becomes more complex, allowing children to build their social and emotional skills as well as critical thinking. The children enjoy trips to the Live Oak Park, our “meadow” and the local neighborhood to expand their observations and sense of the world around them.
Our Gan Hadar classroom maintains a ratio of 6:1 with a maximum of 24 children.
